My enthusiasm for Quora has receded considerably since I wrote this post, and that was before I read your comment about the deletion of your contributions by &quot;special&quot; users. No wonder you removed all your postings. Thanks for making me aware of this development. It is truly troubling and I think it points to a lack of transparency on the site. I have stopped advising clients and students to use Quora ever since the real names issue emerged last year on the site and others (including Google+) and I&#039;ve also stopped sending people to Klout, but that&#039;s another story!. Thanks Tex.

		<description>I just went through and deleted all my answers and contributions after tangling with the special users who have the power to edit posts, images, and questions.  The idea that someone can anonymously delete another user&#039;s freely supplied work and effort is offensive to me.</description>
